The short movie “Don’t let fear stop you” was created by Laure Robbens as part of the ‘Find Your Voice’ project 2018/19.

“The project speaks to me. I have a nature of wanting to learn more and wanting to make a difference. Learning how to make a video like this and all that comes with it, is just a dream. I always felt like I was meant to do something that would change tomorrow. This could just be the beginning.” wrote 17 year-old Laure, in her application to ‘Find Your Voice’ project.

Laure later told us that she wanted to challenge herself by participating in the project, which was in Brussels and therefore outside her usual circle of friends, school and scouts in Zwalm in Flanders. At the end, she decided to document what this experience meant for her and for other girls who participated – to encourage others not to be afraid to step out of their comfort zone.
