Beginner Entrepreneur Mentoring for Women

Beginner Entrepreneur Mentoring for Women was a pilot project, run between September 2019 and July 2020.

We worked with one individual and two groups of women from diverse backgrounds in three rounds of mentoring sessions. Based on the participants’ highly positive feedback to our responsive, hands-on methodology, we have concluded that flexibility and adaptability of its design is the formula to truly benefit women with entrepreneurial ambitions, regardless of their origins, circumstances and needs.

The experiences and insight gained in the programme created the basis for launching Entrepreneurship Essentials for Women – an intensive training course for aspiring entrepreneurs, where participants work directly on a project they are planning to launch.

The pilot also underpinned the development of Entrepreneurs Training and Mentoring Circle for Women – a comprehensive classroom-based training programme, for which we are currently seeking funding.

“Participating in the mentoring programme helped me put my entrepreneurial efforts on the right track.

I worked with the mentor on how to position and upscale my business. We discussed branding and strategies for client acquisition aligned to my unique proposition. We also analysed my website and discussed search engine optimisation.

We estimated how much revenue I need in my freelancing business, to cover my fixed costs per month and replace my salary.

Now I have a better understanding of my own business and where I need to put my energy to grow it.”
