We are looking for a dynamic trainee, passionate about communication, fundraising, social entrepreneurship and project development, to support our work in:


  • Communications: content creation for website and social media channels
  • Fundraising: research and drafting grant applications.
  • Organisational: general operational, administrative and logistics support on needs driven basis, including organization and support of training and events

We are accepting applications for 2021 on an on-going basis. The traineeship position is for 6 months.


Start date is negotiable and can be adapted to the trainee’s educational / graduate schedule and their Erasmus+ grant. The indicative slots are:


Jan 1 – Jun 30, 2021
March 1 – Aug 31, 2021
Sept 1, 2021 – Feb 28, 2022




1. ERASMUS+ traineeship abroad grant eligibility


This position is only available for students or recent graduates, who are able to receive ERASMUS+ traineeship abroad grant through their university. More information can be found here: https://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/opportunities/traineeships-students_en


Before applying please contact your higher education institution, to find out if you are eligible for this grant. Most universities require that you apply for the grant before you graduate, but some may allow applications later. Most universities allow utilising the grant for a traineeship during the study programme or up to 12 months after graduation, but again, you need to find out the exact conditions applicable to you.


Please also verify the monthly grant amount your university offers and consider this against the costs of living in Brussels. It is also possible that some universities will allow carrying out all or some of the grant period from home, given the COVID-19 sanitary crisis.


2. Skills and interests


We would ideally like someone who is or has:

  • Good research skills
  • Good copy-writing abilities
  • Good knowledge of social media and ability to create content engaging content
  • A University student in the final year of a Master’s degree or recently graduated
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken; French is an asset;
  • A proficient user of Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Google tools and social media
  • Knowledge or interest in one of the following areas is a plus: fundraising for non-profits, digital communications, women empowerment
  • Responsible, flexible, friendly, proactive, reliable.
  • Available for 6 months.
